Franklin Jeffers is currently enrolled in the University of Alabama’s MFA program with a concentration in Ceramics. He obtained his B.S. with honors in Studio Art from Southern Oregon University, focused on Spatial Design and Experimental Performance, and a minor in Art History. His work investigates the relationship between physical and digital spaces, the effects of past choices on individuals and society, and the intersectional challenges [I face] as a formally incarcerated person while critiquing the power dynamic in art education and the university disregarding these subtleties.
