Ley //\\ Lines

Ley //\\ Lines examines the overlapping architectures of higher education and incarceration, and how institutional spaces shape movement, identity, visibility, and belonging.

Through sculpture, ceramics, installation, photography, video, and architectural mapping, the exhibition draws connections between places often understood as separate. Aerial imagery, institutional layouts, reconstructed landscapes, and repeated forms become ways of examining how systems of control are built into physical space—and how those structures can remain with us after we leave them.

Landscapes are reconstructed, distorted, suspended, contained, and placed out of balance. Viewed from above, individual sites begin to share a visual language of boundaries, pathways, repetition, observation, and controlled movement.

The institution changes, but the structures of control continue.
